July 22, 23, & 24, 2008 – CRNI Certification Review with Kay Coulter, RN CRNI
The CRNI Review Program is an annual event at the Puget Sound INS that super-charges infusion nurses who are preparing to sit for the CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) Exam or who would like to enhance their knowledge of Infusion Nursing. This three-day program covers all 9 content areas of the CRNI Exam plus covers test taking strategies. An informational brochure is available on this Web site, just click the link to 2008 CRNI Review on the left hand side of this screen.
This course will be hosted by the Puget Sound INS and sponsored by Infusion Knowledge – the preeminent provider of CRNI education and preparation. The Puget Sound INS offers an educational scholarship to anyone who completes all three days of the CRNI Review Program, is a current member of the Puget Sound INS, and sits for the CRNI Exam. These three requirements must be met within 12 months of your CRNI Review Program.
Hint – Statistics from the INCC (Infusion Nurses Certification Corporation) show that the highest exam pass rates occur among individuals who take a CRNI review course AND listen to the CRNI preparation AUDIO tapes. Also studying from the CRNI Core Curriculum greatly enhances your chance of passing the exam (Other study resources are available including the INS textbook; Infusion Therapy in Clinical Practice, 2001). You can purchase these publications online at the INS Bookstore (www.ins1.org).

August 9, 2008 – PSINS Social Event
Infusion FUN in Action!... for the whole family…
Join us for an exciting day of fun with family and friends. At the Puget Sound INS we consider all Infusion Nurses to be our greatest asset. Therefore, we would like to show the profound appreciation that we have for each of you. The August Social Event will be an opportunity for all of us to get to know each other and learn about each other. This event will be our opportunity to spend some time together without the trappings of an educational lecture.
This event is open to PSINS member and non-members. Any nurse who is involved in Infusion Therapy is welcome. If you deal with any type of Infusion Therapy we would like to have you join us. Additionally, family members are welcome at this event. Please bring your children, spouse or partner. Don’t fret though, you can come by yourself and have a great time too.
This will be a potluck event. PSINS will be providing hamburgers, hotdogs, plates, utensils, and napkins. Please bring a potluck dish with you that is suitable for an outdoor picnic.
We are looking forward to seeing each of you at this very special event.
